Meet Our Team!

Meet the Founder

Cassidy Luna, DNP, PPCNP-BC

I'm a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a neonatal background and a deep passion for helping children and families thrive. My journey has taken me from conventional medicine to functional and integrative developmental care, blending both worlds to support the whole child—body, brain, and nervous system.

With advanced training in neurodevelopmental therapy and craniosacral therapy, I work with individuals of all ages to restore balance and support optimal growth. My clinical work is deeply informed by my studies on visual processing and brain function, including training under a Neuro-developmental Optometrist whose mentorship helped shape how I understand the mind’s role in learning and resilience.

Outside of work, I’m a wife to the most patient husband on the planet and a mom to three incredible kids who happily serve as my test subjects for every new modality I explore. I’m also blessed with devoted parents and an amazing support system that makes it possible to live out this calling and serve families the way I do.

At Resilient Beginning, I’m surrounded by a team that shares the same heart and vision: to help each client radiate their inner light and experience lasting transformation from the inside out.

I am an Integrative Developmental Therapist with Resilient Beginning. I was introduced to this prescriptive therapy and curriculum in early 2024 with my peers and leadership, where my journey into understanding the mind and behavior began to take shape.

During this time, I was trained to become a diagnostician of the mind—learning to see what is often invisible, identify embedded behavioral patterns, and help restructure them in healthy, life-giving ways. Under the instruction and mentorship of a Neuro-developmental Optometrist, I gained the knowledge and tools to help children reconstruct their learning by building their visual “light of mind,” increasing resilience, and growing in their God-given identity. This work has proven transformational, changing how children learn, process, and operate in their daily lives.

I began my role as a therapist under Dr. Cassidy Luna and her team at the start of the Fall 2025 semester. It was there that I found my place not only working with children one-on-one, but also walking alongside families—helping them understand the therapy, the process, and the hope it brings. Through these sessions, I have been blessed to witness powerful changes in both outward behaviors and inward emotional growth, as well as breakthroughs within parent-child relationships.

I strongly believe in the power of prayer and intentionally invite it into our work—speaking life over every child and family, and allowing each session to be Holy Spirit–led, operating hand in hand with the knowledge and training I have been privileged to receive. It is an honor to serve children and families in this way and to be part of the healing, restoration, and growth that unfolds through this work.

I am a licensed Occupational Therapist who graduated from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in May 2025. Throughout my training, I gained experience working with both pediatric and adult populations across a variety of clinical settings, where I have found great joy in helping others build skills that support their goals and daily lives.

I am passionate about lifelong learning, especially when expanding my knowledge allows me to help others thrive in their daily lives. While my occupational therapy training provided a strong foundation, the work of a Neuro-developmental Optometrist has helped me better understand the role of the mind in healing and development. Over the past year, I attended specialized trainings and observed clinical sessions while completing my degree, preparing me to join the Resilient Beginning team with confidence and purpose.

The methods practiced at Resilient Beginning have broadened my perspective on what is possible in healing and development. I am honored to continue learning, growing, and treating clients alongside a team that is deeply committed to transformative, whole-person care
